Patch 1.3 is around the corner and everyone is excited. Bug fixes, gameplay changes galore and a whole new zone to explore. Until then a new live event should start up soon to start the fight for early access to the Land of the Dead!
Land of the Dead stuff:
Southern Cross remains one of the most active guilds on Darklands, running a warband almost every night and weekend. Currently guild level 34 and on a close race to be the first level 37 guild on the server. |

It has been an interesting couple of months since the last news update.
The 1.2 patch has arrived and with it the fury of the Choppa and Slayer have been unleashed on the Warhammer Online world, as well as the spell resist nerf that has made Sorcerer's and Bright Wizard's even more fun to play, and made melee even less.
The last month has seen the arrivial of some refugees from TRF, our former opponents on Order who have been lured to the dark side of destruction, I welcome their arrivial and wish them the best in Southern Cross. Who knows they might even be able to show this dog a few new tricks :).
Darklands has consoldiated itself into an order paradise, full of roaming zergs waiting to be decimated by our organised force, or run from when the mass of red becomes too much to handle. It has also seen the first signs of organisation coming to guilds in general, as small guilds fold, as leaderless guilds fold, and new stronger guilds will hopefully form from the ashes. Time will tell.
We now wait patiently for 1.2.1, with the hope that imbalance will be addressed, more bugs squashed and hopefully no new bugs introduced.
No matter what happens, Southern Cross will be there in the thick of things as we always have been. |

The gates of Altdorf fell Sunday night.
After a suprise success at the Shining Way, Destruction was bent on the capture of Reikland. It fell at midnight, the dark powers would be pleased.
Congrats to those that got some conqueror gear! 4 of 6 bags went to Sourthern Cross. If contribution is broke I don't want it fixed!

After much frustrations we've finally got every boss down in Lost Vale nailing N'kari the final boss in the instance last night.
Congrats to Terminate, Tilania, Darni, Sorcerer, Belgarrth and myself who slogged through endless wipes to finally nail the bitch. Also thanks to Spoticus who was with us the week before and helped us work out the strat, just didn't have enough time to kill her.

After two weeks where we had restricted playtime in Lost Vale we finally got a chance to have some real attempts on Sarthain the Worldbearer, the final boss of the right wing. After three attempts we burned this giant tree down. Congrats to Darni, Elthrai, Sorcerer, Tilania, Spoticus and Chrien for this milestone.
